I will try to provide some needed information now.
- I started with the vinegar bottle on a shelf for ease of changiing, but the next day it was empty, so I think it will siphon even with tge pump off unless you install the bottle lower than the pump. Not sure, though.
-There is a button with a faucet on it and a button marked time. As near as I can tell, the faucet means run a manual cycle one time. The time means how much vinegar to program for each automatic cycle. Another button is straightforward, to program how often to run a volume of vinegar in intervals of days. What I can’t find out is what units are used for the vinegar volume, I am guessing that a 1 means 1 cup of vinegar.
Yesterday was the first day I think I put 1 cup through automatically, after fiddling with the programming buttons and installation placements.
Hope this makes sense.
After researching A/C drain solutions I accidentally found this one somehow, I am glad I did. I like the fact it uses vinegar instead of having to buy there refills and the reviews were very good.
